Use of English 8-3 Exercise 1
Finish essay corrections
PRESENTATION DO'S AND DON'T'S
1. Open with a greeting.
2. End with "Thank you" (NOT "I'm finished")
3. Make eye-contact (but don't stare at one person for 5 minutes and scare them)
4. Act like there is nowhere else that you would rather be.
5. Provide visuals
6. NO READING!!!
7. Don't memorize, just understand the process well enough that you can explain it.
8. Speak loudly and clearly
9. Maintain a good pace (not too fast or too slow)
10. Make sure you can pronounce difficult words beforehand
11. Pretend you enjoy life.
12. Include explanations of any difficult or industry-specific vocabulary
